At ESS, making a difference doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Recently, four of our dedicated ESS Texas local team members—Kimberly Tucker, Somar Crowder, Edith Rangel, and Chelsea Baghaei—traded in their laptops for aprons and gloves to volunteer at the Local Good Pantry. Together, this team helped serve over 600 families in the local Richardson community, providing essential food and support to those in need.
This meaningful day of service reflects our ongoing commitment at ESS to support every community we serve. Through employee volunteer opportunities, we encourage our team members to step outside their day-to-day roles and make a local impact. From stocking shelves to organizing donations, this group rolled up its sleeves to help fight food insecurity.
“It was incredibly rewarding to step outside our usual roles and connect with the community in such a meaningful way,” said Kimberly Tucker. “We’re proud to work for a company that encourages giving back to our community.”
ESS regularly promotes employee volunteer opportunities across the country, encouraging staff to step outside their roles and engage with causes that matter locally to support the community. These experiences build stronger communities and reinforce our belief in service as a cornerstone of education.
