“Substitute teaching gives me a feeling of satisfaction, a feeling that in some small way I am contributing to the overall development of children and helping to prepare them for their next steps in life. It’s a very flexible, enjoyable way for me to spend some of my retirement time and to help the school fulfill its mission of providing a well rounded education for the students.”
