Each month, our partner school districts submit glowing reviews of our employees, from which we select four employees of the month. We’re pleased to recognize our honorees from August 2023!
Molly Abare
Henry County Schools, GA
Molly was nominated by Cheryl Kuhn, Principal’s Secretary at Locust Grove High School, who wrote: “Ms. Abare subs in a paraprofessional vacancy position in our SID/PID class. She is here early each morning preparing the classroom for the day. She fulfills every role in the classroom from feeding students, changing them during bathroom time, dealing with catheters and feeding tubes, helping with school work and many other duties that most people would not want to do. She jumps right in to help wherever she is needed and does it all with a smile on her face! To make it even better, this sweet young lady is in her 70s and can work circles around many. We are so thankful for her being in our building!”
Bonnie Greene
BLaST IU 17, PA
Bonnie was nominated by Jennifer Alvino, Paraprofessional at Sayre Area High School, who wrote: “I would like to nominate Bonnie Greene as employee of the month and a potential candidate for employee of the year. Bonnie has been a dedicated employee for the past eight years. She is currently the only floater teacher substitute in the north. Bonnie is a wonderful person with a lovely personality. She is liked by everyone, both staff and students. This year was the first year Bonnie was told to attend the BLaST in-service. During those days she was greeted by so many people who were happy to see her. During one of our group sessions, I had the pleasure of overhearing a conversation amongst a group of people talking about Bonnie and how wonderful she is. They were play arguing about who was going to get Bonnie and how each one wanted her in their room this year. I have no doubt in my mind that if there was a vote in the north for employee of the month and Bonnie Greene was a candidate, she would win by a landslide and everyone would be very happy for her.”
Jennifer Dimond
Anderson School District One, SC
Jennifer was nominated by Breonna Williams, Floater Substitute Teacher at Wren High School, who wrote: “This is my first school year as a substitute and Jennifer has gone the extra mile with showing me the ropes around the school as well as introducing me to teachers. She is very motivating and encouraging. She gives advice and guides me when I need it most. But enough about me! The students here love her and it gives me inspiration to be like her. She is more than deserving of Employee of the Month.”
Ayesha Siddiqui
Allen ISD, TX
Ayesha was nominated by Renee Nelson, Assistant Principal at Norton Elementary School, who wrote: “Ayesha goes above and beyond as a substitute on our campus! She works mostly in our special education classrooms and is loved by all staff and students. She is a team player, great communicator, and is willing to do whatever is asked. She has developed great relationships with students and staff. When she subs, staff and students are constantly greeting her enthusiastically. She also reaches out whenever she has availability to make sure our campus is covered. We are so blessed to have Ms. Ayesha as a substitute on our campus.”
