Each month, our partner school districts submit glowing reviews of our employees, from which we select two employees of the month. We’re pleased to recognize our honorees from April 2019!
John Wellington, NM
Signing on with ESS in March 2019, John’s already made a great impression! He’s worked 43 days at the Red Mountain Middle school and has 14 more scheduled out.
He was nominated by Gabriel Renteria, Head Secretary at Red Mountain Middle School, who wrote, “John has been doing an amazing job covering for a staff member out on maternity leave. He always shows up on time and is always willing to do what is asked of him. Some days we have him running around from class to class. He never complains and always has a pleasant disposition. We are very grateful for his service. The kids love him and so does the staff. Having someone who is dependable every day is very much appreciated. We can not run this school without the help of our ESS staff, and John is one of those amazing people. We can’t thank him enough.”
Tonya Hollis, NC
Tonya joined ESS as part of our implementation with Stanly County Schools in December 2018. Since then, she’s worked 99 assignments, serving a wide variety of grade levels and schools.
She was nominated by South Stanly High School Bookkeeper, Leslie Carrigan, who wrote, “Tonya is always eager to help out in any area needed. Many times we have only needed her for a 1/2 day, then had to find full day coverage, and she was more than glad to do it. If she is subbing for a teacher and they have planning, she goes out of her way to help other teachers during that time. She is always friendly and wears a smile on her face constantly. She is never late and if at all possible, she will be here early, eager to help. Can’t say enough good things about Mrs. Hollis.”
Donna Hornig, FL
Joining ESS in July 2018, Donna has worked 111 assignments as a food service worker for the C.H. Price Middle School (part of the Putnam County School District).
She was nominated by Cafeteria Manager and Assistant Manager, Ruth and Melissa Parker, who wrote, “Ms. Donna is an absolute treasure in the cafeteria. Not only does she show up ahead of time, she always has a smile and a kind word to everyone. We feel blessed that each and every time we have asked her, she shows up. She works efficiently and helps anyone else out with their work when she completes hers. We feel that she is an asset to our team. She comes three days a week and would keep her for five if we could. We appreciate her immensely. We hope that you consider this kind, generous, steadfast individual for her work here at Price Middle School Cafeteria.”
Julie Schill, PA
Julie has filled 689 absences since joining ESS in March 2015. She works at various locations within the Riverview Intermediate Unit.
She was nominated by RIU Special Education Supervisor Kirsten Wolfe, who wrote, “Julie is an exemplary individual. She brings dedication and knowledge of our programs and student needs together. Julie steps forward with confidence and is available with little difficulty. Julie deserves a commendation! She is appreciated!”
Congratulations and keep up the excellent work!
