On September 30th, Brooks County Schools in Georgia held its annual Teacher of the Year Banquet – and ESS was thrilled to get involved! We donated $500 toward the festivities and presented our first Brooks County Substitute of the Year Award to Brenda Jackson.
One of the most sought-after substitutes in the district, Brenda has covered 568 absences since joining the ESS family in April 2017! She has more than 30 years of experience working with children, so the staff knows she will do a great job in the classroom while they are out.
Brenda is always ready to serve the students and staff of Brooks County Schools at a moment’s notice – and if she’s unavailable (which is rare), she helps to find another sub to fill positions.
When Brenda’s in the classroom, it’s sure to be a valuable learning day. She follows the lesson plans and ensures that each student completes the designated tasks while under her supervision.
At the banquet, ESS Account Manager/Recruiter Lanesha Williams presented our Brooks County Substitute of the Year with a Certificate of Recognition along with a large gift basket containing a Visa Gift Card and other fun items.
A huge thank you to Brenda for your diligent work – and to Brooks County Schools for including us in your celebration. It was a great day!
