Kayla Williams, NJ 
Kayla joined the ESS team in August as a permanent special education aide at the North Star Academy. She was nominated by the social worker at West Side Park Elementary School, Jill DeGroot, who wrote,”Ms. Williams, is a paraprofessional for one of our 2nd grade students. I would be remiss if I did not make you aware of her undying support and dedication to her student and our school as a whole. Ms. Williams is always professional, maintains open communication with teachers and staff, tackles challenges with grace, implements behavior intervention plans, and most importantly, continues to be an asset to our school. She is faced with different challenges every day, but remains calm, positive, and always smiling. We cannot tell you how much we appreciate this high level of dedication!”
Isabel Rubio, NM
Isabel has worked 62 substitute assignments since signing on with ESS in October 2018. She is off to a great start as a reliable substitute for Deming Public Schools, working frequently at Bell and Ruben S. Torres Elementary Schools. She was nominated by Bell Elementary Secretary Yesenia Guillen, who wrote, “Ms. Rubio is a great sub. She makes herself available and is flexible when a situation arises and is more than willing to help. She knows how to follow the lesson plans left for her, and always arrives with a smile on her face!”
