Each month, our partner school districts submit glowing reviews of our employees, from which we select two employees of the month. We’re pleased to recognize our honorees from January 2019!
Sheila Weatherly, VA
Since joining the ESS team in August 2016, Sheila has worked eight long-term assignments at the New Horizons Regional Education Centers. That equates to 378 substitute days with 48 more scheduled throughout this school year! She was nominated by New Horizons Program Coordinator, Shante’ Harvey, who wrote, “Ms. Weatherly has been an asset to our program! She consistently demonstrates the ability to work with a diverse group of students. Ms. Weatherly enters work daily with a positive attitude. She has a ‘can do’ philosophy. It is not uncommon to see Ms. Weatherly talking to students and encouraging them to do their best. She is professional, friendly and supportive. Ms. Weatherly, in my opinion, should not just be considered as Employee of the Month, but Employee of the Year.”
Megan Antis, OR
Megan started working as a substitute in September 2016. She’s worked 92 assignments at various schools within the Newberg and Tigard-Tualatin School Districts, including a long-term substitute assignment at Newberg’s Joan Austin Elementary School. She was nominated by Joan Austin Elementary School Secretary, Cheryl Verret, who wrote, “Megan always shows up early to prepare for class. The teachers, staff, and students love her. She is capable, friendly, and great to work with.”
Congratulations Sheila & Megan – keep up the excellent work!
