Each month, our partner school districts submit glowing reviews of our employees, from which we select four employees of the month. We’re pleased to recognize our honorees from December 2019!
Tammy Wadsworth
Tooele County School District, UT
Tammy was nominated by Tooele Secretary, Bel Cortezz, who wrote: “Tammy is exceptional because she simply works hard! She has history with the kids and a genuine love for them and our school. She always comes prepared to classrooms with activities for students in case they need it. Tammy’s loyalty and love are irreplaceable!!!”
Denise Gish
Tippecanoe School Corporation, IN
Denise was nominated by Tippecanoe Resource Room Teacher, Mollie Newman, who wrote: “Denise is so reliable. She is flexible and will cover wherever needed. Her calm demeanor and steady ways bring peace to our students. Denise finds creative ways to reach students where they are struggling. Denise is so very worthy.”
Maribeth Kidney
Riverview School District, PA
Maribeth was nominated by Kirsten Wolfe, Special Education Supervisor, who wrote: “Maribeth has joined our Early Intervention team as a dedicated substitute this year. The best way to describe Maribeth is “DEDICATED”! We have been so fortunate to have Maribeth join our team because she is flexible and willing to assist as needed. She has experience working with young children, and this is demonstrated by her day-to-day interactions with the students.
As a supervisor, I, and my colleague SueAnn, also have peace of mind with having Maribeth on our team because we also have to be available to cover in classrooms if there is no available coverage. A huge thank you goes out to Maribeth Kidney from our IU6 team. She is essential to what we do in Early Intervention programming! She deserves a commendation!”
Victoria Yeich
Penns Grove-Carneys Point Regional School District, NJ
Victoria was nominated by Penns Grove-Carneys Point School District Substitute, Sarah Anderson, who wrote: “Victoria is the kindest coworker ever. She takes on any job task asked of her. She’s currently taken over as lead teacher for a special education room. She was given no materials or curriculum and yet she’s turned around the class to having a great system and daily lesson plans.
Victoria has amazing rapport with the students and staff. She makes you feel welcomed and helps you with anything. She’s an amazing educator who never complains and is always smiling. She’s a bright shining light that everyone needs in their life. Victoria Yeich is an exceptional staff member and should be recognized for all of her hard work. She comes in early and stays late. Victoria is everything a school could ask for.”
