We’re excited to bring back our Employee of the Month program! Each month, our partner school districts submit glowing reviews of our employees, from which we select four employees of the month. We’re pleased to recognize our honorees from October 2020!
Jacqueline Duncan
Duval County Public Schools, FL
Jacqueline was nominated by Dinsmore Elementary School Bookkeeper, Jurene Taylor, who wrote: “Ms. Duncan is very prompt and so kind to our teachers and students. She is very positive when working with the students. She has been covering an art position for us and going from class to class to teach. When she comes into the class, the students cheer! All the teachers want her to cover their assignments. Dinsmore Elementary loves her!”
Roxanne Simmons
Brazosport Independent School District, TX
Roxanne was nominated by Velasco Elementary School Secretary, Teresa Mageors, who wrote: “Roxanne is filling in for our front desk clerk and she is going the extra mile. It’s been crazy in this office with all the Chromebook problems and phone calls, and she is handling everything with grace and professionalism. It hasn’t been easy with the ‘new norm’ and technology. We appreciate all her hard work and help!”
Linda Sumner
Hillsboro School District & Tigard-Tualatin School District, OR
Linda was nominated by Lenox Elementary School Office Manager, Jeanne Zmolek, who wrote: “Linda has worked at Lenox quite a bit. She even worked all school year as a temporary teacher when we were surprised by 100 kindergarteners enrolling. She is very adept at teaching the ‘littles’ and the big kids. We know the class is in good hands when Linda shows up to sub.
Now with distance learning, Linda has jumped right in and is making it work even with all the technology snafu. We feel lucky to have Linda to fill in when our regular teachers are out. Her flexibility to adapt to situations that are thrown at her is a talent/skill we benefit from. No matter the situation or last-minute change, Linda rolls with it.”
Rachel Rigdon
Bacon County School District, GA
Rachel was nominated by Bacon County Elementary School Principal, Darrell Ellis, who wrote: “Ms. Rachel Rigdon is always 100% willing to serve in any role or capacity. She has a great attitude and is wonderful with the children and faculty. She is kind, punctual, motivated, and creative.”
