Each month, our partner school districts submit glowing reviews of our employees, from which we select four employees of the month. We’re pleased to recognize our honorees from October 2021!
Ruta Mudholkar
Kyrene School District, AZ
Ruta was nominated by Esperanza Elementary School Principal Carolyn Payne, who wrote: “This year, Esperanza was in a unique situation where a classroom teacher was on leave for an extended period of time. Ruta arrived and she instantly knew her class of third grade students needed a substitute who was willing to stay throughout the leave. She has gone above and beyond to collaborate with her team to ensure her students’ academic, social and emotional needs are being met on a daily basis. She has created positive relationships with her students and staff. We are so lucky to have her here at Esperanza!”
Rosaida Capitini
East Windsor Regional School District, NJ
Rosaida was nominated by Ethel McKnight Elementary School Secretary Renee Rango, who wrote: “Rosaida is one of our building based substitutes. She always goes above and beyond in every aspect. She has formed wonderful relationships with our front office and building staff. She accepts every position we toss at her without a problem. She had to cover a significant amount of time for a bilingual class, and she made it her own, which allowed for the students to feel comfortable. She is truly an exceptional employee, and we are thrilled to have her as a part of our Ethel McKnight Family. Her smile brightens our day! She deserves accolades.“
Kristen Savoie
Lexington-Richland School District Five, SC
Kristen was nominated by Chapin Middle School Leave Clerk Suzanne Nash, who wrote: “Kristin Savoie has been a committed and consistent sub here at Chapin Middle School. She puts our students first and is committed to a consistent learning environment. I am able to put her in any class, in any grade level or content area and she provides continuity in a classroom like the teacher was still there – and with the utmost professionalism. She is in our school almost every single day. She is punctual, present, and goes the extra mile. On days that she has nowhere to cover during a planning block, she takes it upon herself to go to classrooms she is familiar with and offers to work with small groups who may need extra help, goes to the library to shelve books, or in general, finds a place that needs help. She is more than deserving of an employee of the month award.”
Eric Johnson
Tooele County School District, UT
Eric was nominated by Grantsville Junior High Secretary Sheri Johnson (no relation!), who wrote: “Eric is a sub who is in our building often. He does a fantastic job. Not only does he follow lesson plans well (which several of our teachers have said), he very often meets up with teachers beforehand to make sure he knows what to teach and how to help the students. He is popular with the students. They request him when they are made aware that there will be a sub. They often come to the office and tell us how much they like Mr. Johnson. Students have expressed how much Mr. Johnson cares. They have expressed how kind he is. What more can be said? Eric Johnson is someone who is impressing teachers, students, and administration. He goes the extra mile. He is loved and appreciated. There cannot be a more deserving employee.“
