We can’t wait for you to join the ESS family!

Current SDP Substitutes
We are pleased to announce that SDP has appointed ESS to manage its substitute program beginning in July. It is our sincere hope that you will continue to substitute for the District by joining the SDP/ESS family.

We cannot thank the SDP’s substitutes enough for stepping in at a moment’s notice to ensure Philadelphia’s students experience continuity in academic and support services.

On July 1, 2022, ESS will officially begin managing the SDP substitute program. You are under no obligation to join ESS. However, to continue as a substitute in SDP next school year, you must be employed by ESS.
