We can’t wait for you to join the ESS family!
Current SDP Substitutes
We are pleased to announce that SDP has appointed ESS to manage its substitute program beginning in July. It is our sincere hope that you will continue to substitute for the District by joining the SDP/ESS family.
We cannot thank the SDP’s substitutes enough for stepping in at a moment’s notice to ensure Philadelphia’s students experience continuity in academic and support services. Please continue accepting assignments with Kelly Services for the rest of the 2021/22 school year.
On July 1, 2022, ESS will officially begin managing the SDP substitute program. You are under no obligation to join ESS. However, to continue as a substitute in SDP next school year, you must be employed by ESS.
How Can I Learn More and Apply with ESS?
The onboarding process consists of three easy steps, and the ESS team will be there to support you every step of the way.
Step 1: Sign Up and Attend a Virtual Onboarding Meeting
At this meeting, you’ll learn everything you need to know about transitioning to ESS. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with ESS employees, ask questions, learn about the company, and hear about all the amazing perks available to you.
To make the transition process as easy as possible, the ESS team is working with the District to obtain your credentials. ESS will notify you if any additional information is needed. Please note that Kelly Services should have your information on file and they should be able to provide it to you. The ESS team will go over the entire credentialing process during this virtual onboarding meeting.
